Description
Polyurethane adhesive dressing comprises two layers: the outer surface is a microporous polyurethane membrane and the inner is an acrylic film adhesive to facilitate attachment to the skin.
It contributes to prevent the formation of hypertrophic scars. Minimizes hypertrophic scars, recent or old, or keloids caused by burns, general surgery or traumatic injuries. Take care of the scars of the sun’s rays.
How to use Trofolastin Scar Reducer
Apply a patch on the scar. It takes at least 10 weeks of treatment to obtain results. If there is redness, pain or irritation, discontinue the use of the bandage. Do not use on third degree burns or on open wounds.
The treatment can last up to 4-6 months depending on the type of scar , although the product is designed to begin to see the first effects after 8-10 weeks of treatment. It does not contain any active ingredient, but acts through a physical mechanism increasing the pressure on the scar and modifying the humidity under the dressing, which contributes to the correct arrangement of the collagen fibers.
